I saw a cute bouquet of fabric flowers at this site:  http://livelaughrowe.com/diy-fabric-flowers/.  It was complete with photos and a tutorial, and I thought this would be nice in a mason jar in the mudroom I’m designing.  Cute, huh?

While most of the tutorial was easy to follow, I got stumped on Step 5, where I had to make a cut to form the shape of the flower.  Try after try, I got it wrong.  After experimenting with paper, I finally got the shape right and assembled a flower.

CRAP ALERT!  Most definitely unimpressive.  This was an instance where I decided the effort was not worth it.  Into the trash and on to another project.
