I planned to wear a lovely black and white dress to Callia’s wedding, but I wanted to spice up my jewelry a little with some pink, a color I knew Callia was using throughout her wedding. At a bead store in Houston, I found a bracelet already assembled. I bought it and the large pink rose, though I wasn’t exactly sure how I would attach the lone rose to a necklace.
Crapsmanship to the rescue! I simply wound some silver wire through the two holes in the back of the rose, leaving two ends that were about 4 inches each. I then wound one end at the neck of the rose and finished by winding both ends around the necklace.
After trimming the ends, I was good to go. No one at the wedding noticed the bracelet, but I got lots of compliments on the necklace!
