I’ve always turned up my nose at the idea of Artist Trading Cards. I mean, why would I want to start a new collection when I hardly have room for what I already have? But when Martha, Kathy, and I scheduled a trip to Dallas for a big crafters’ conference, Martha suggested we make some ATCs in case we have the opportunity to swap with other crapspeople, er, I mean craftspeople. So I approached the task with my usual blend of ineptitude, mixed media, and luck. Here are a few of what I’ve created so far.
I used a stamp and a label on the back of each to identify the “artist.”
They’ve been strangely addictive to make, and I’ll create more before our trip in mid-September. I might even sprinkle them throughout the conference hall for my donation to found art!
