I knew my BFF’s birthday was coming soon. After all, I’ve know her for almost 60 years! But, unlike my usual self, I hadn’t thought ahead to crafting her a special card. So the day before her birthday, I had to scramble.
I keep some half-finished cards for “emergencies” such as this. In this instance, I used a pre-made card, glued a strip of Gelli-plated paper into the bottom of the inside of a pink one, and punched out five small hearts. To make this a birthday-themed card for BFF, I used five different thin washi tapes to represent candles, made the flame with a yellow Posca pen, and connected the candle to the flame with a fine point Sharpie. After I wrote a message on the inside, the card was ready to go in about three minutes flat!
Yeah, but it wouldn’t have been 3 minutes for me!😬

No. You’d have taken at least ten just to pick out the washi tape!
