I needed some aged-look paper for a crafting project I’m going to work on, so I decided to make some myself. Doing so, I stumbled on the easiest way imaginable, and all you need is some white copy paper or cardstock and some instant coffee.
My first step was to reconstitute a few scoops of instant coffee into some hot water. I then spooned a couple spoonsful of coffee onto the paper and smeared it all around with my hand.
While the paper was still wet, I sprinkled some dry coffee powder onto the paper.
I set the papers aside to dry, and the next morning I brushed any extra coffee granules off the paper into the kitchen sink. And that’s all there was to it. I’ve got aged paper for days with very little effort. That’s my kind of crapsmanship!
