It’s Super Bowl Sunday! I have to confess that I haven’t watched much NFL this year, but Dan the Man and I always watch the Super Bowl. Now, it’s true that we may be doing other things while the game is on, but we sure don’t want to miss any football action or commercial gems.
I often serve soup for our Super Bowl meal. (Get it — Soup-er Bowl?) But this year I’m doing an assortment of appetizers. Here’s our list and links to the recipes I’m using.

Frozen Margaritas — If you’ve made it this far through the blog post, you get a bonus recipe of my creation. Make these the day before and put the liquid in the freezer. They come out slushy and yummy. Mix together 1 large can of frozen limeade, 1 can of Fresca, 1 bottle of Corona, and 1 juice can full of gold tequila. If you haven’t made this in time to freeze, it’s also great on the rocks. You won’t regret anything but the headache!
